The 4th Degree is often known as “The Patriotic Degree” and is associated with the virtue of Patriotism. The Fourth Degree was established in New York on February 22, 1900 and members of the 4th Degree have the special honor of holding the title “Sir Knight”.
The requirements for joining the 4th Degree are:
A Brother Knight must be a 3rd Degree Member in Good Standing,
Be an exemplary Catholic, and be of sound citizenship of his country.
The primary purpose of the 4th Degree is to foster the spirit of patriotism by promoting responsible citizenship and a lot of and loyalty to the Knight’s respective countries through membership in the local Assembly.
The 4th Degree Knights of Council 7863 are associated with John F. Kennedy Assembly 1530 in Everett, Washington. Other Councils associated with John F. Kennedy Assembly 1530 include St. Mary Magdalen Council 9617 and Our Lady of Hope Council 763.
John F. Kennedy Assembly meetings are on the 3rd Monday of each Month from 7-8pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 2913 W Marine View Dr, Everett WA 98201.
